People walk into our floor at Sentrum Mall, Shristi Nagar, and say the same first line: “Bhai, website banana hai.” Fair. Then they show us three screenshots of agencies in Kolkata and one from a freelancer on Instagram. Nobody is sure what they are actually buying.
This is written for that conversation. Not a pitch deck. If you are searching for a website designing company in Asansol, here is what the work should look like once the invoice is paid.
A website in Asansol is not a brochure
On Hutton Road and G.T. Road, most customers do this: Google the service, tap the first two listings, WhatsApp whoever replies fastest. If your site takes eight seconds on Jio, they are gone. If there is no WhatsApp button, they are gone. If the phone number is an old landline nobody picks up after 7 pm, same story.
So the job is not “make it look modern”. The job is: someone in Burnpur, on a cracked Android, should be able to message you in two taps.
What we refuse to skip on a local site
- Mobile layout first. Desktop is the extra, not the main event.
- A sticky WhatsApp button with a pre-filled message. People here type less than you think.
- Your real address — Sentrum Mall, shop number, whatever it is — and a map that opens in Google Maps, not a screenshot.
- One page that answers the search they actually type: “website designing in Asansol”, “dentist near Apcar Garden”, “coaching in Ushagram”. Not ten pages of fluff.
- Page titles and headings that mention the city. Google is not a mind reader.
If an agency cannot show you those five things on a live URL, keep walking.
Quotes that jump after “final”
We quote in writing. Scope, pages, timeline. If you add an extra language or an online store later, that is a new line. What we will not do is take a cheap number, then add “SEO pack” and “WhatsApp API” as surprises in week three. That trick is old and everyone in the Asansol–Durgapur belt has heard it.
Related: our website designing page lists what sits inside a normal project. The Asansol city page is the one you send to a partner who still thinks we are a Kolkata shop.
Agency vs cousin who “knows WordPress”
A cousin can launch a theme. He cannot sit with you when Google Business says the PIN is 713304 and your site footer still says 713301. He will not answer in two hours when the form stops sending leads on a Sunday. We do, because that form is how we eat.
Hire whoever you want. Keep the domain in your name. Keep hosting login in your email. If the designer disappears, you should still own the keys.
After launch, the unglamorous week
We submit the sitemap, check Search Console, and make sure the Google Business profile matches the site word for word. Phone, address, hours. One mismatch and Maps gets confused. Then we ask you to collect ten real reviews from people who actually came to the shop — not staff, not relatives with a new Gmail.
That is more ranking work than another slider on the homepage.
If you want to talk
Walk in, 3rd floor, Sentrum Mall, Shristi Nagar. Or WhatsApp. Tell us the business, the area (Hutton Road, Burnpur, Raniganj, does not matter), and whether you already have a domain. We will say yes, no, or “fix this first” — which is usually the Google listing, not the logo.
