DURGAPUR SOFTWARE

Software for Durgapur businesses RFQ portals, ordering and booking

We build PHP and Laravel web apps for Durgapur’s two economies: industrial RFQ portals for DSP/ASP-side vendors, restaurant ordering for City Centre kitchens, and clinic booking for Bidhannagar desks. Scoped MVPs from about ₹1 lakh; custom web apps from ₹2,00,000+ in 8–16 weeks. Written in Asansol; your software runs on your hosting. No fake Durgapur “dev campus”.

What software does a Durgapur business actually need on day one?

One workflow. A vendor who still quotes on WhatsApp photos of a handwritten rate needs a place for a purchase officer to request a price, attach a spec, and see status — not an ERP. A City Centre restaurant that loses dinner orders in a busy WhatsApp group needs a simple order ticket the kitchen can read, not a Zomato clone. A Bidhannagar clinic that double-books two receptionists needs a calendar with roles, not an “AI health platform”. We will not start three products in v1.

The Asansol software page is about walk-in scoping for local ops tools. This page is about Durgapur-specific products: plant-side RFQ, food ordering, clinic booking. Same stack (PHP/Laravel), same INR bands, different first screen. If you only needed a brochure site, use web design in Durgapur. If you needed a Play Store field app, use Android app development — after we confirm the web workflow exists.

Three Durgapur products we will actually quote

Industrial RFQ portals

Buyer login or a public request form, SKU/capability list, quote status, PDF, GST fields. Built so a purchase desk can forward a link, not a 14-image WhatsApp thread.

Restaurant ordering

City Centre / Benachity menus, table or pickup tickets, kitchen display or print, UPI. Not a pan-India cloud POS unless you truly need one.

Clinic booking

Bidhannagar and township appointment calendars, doctor rooms, WhatsApp reminders, a receptionist role that cannot see accounts if you say so.

Tally conversation up front

A lot of Durgapur B2B still closes in Tally. We ask in week one whether v1 must talk to it. Retrofitting is how 8-week jobs become 16.

Ordinary Indian hosting

Laravel, MySQL, backups, an admin that works on a 2 GB Android in A-Zone. No theatre architecture.

Source and staging

Weekly URLs you can click. You own the code. Optional AMC after launch — not a hostage SaaS.

How a Durgapur software job runs from Asansol

Pick the workflow

RFQ, kitchen tickets, or clinic calendar. If you say “all three plus inventory plus HR”, we will cut it down on the call.

Show the current mess

WhatsApp exports, Tally screens, the paper order pad, the diary. That is the spec. NH-19 meeting optional.

Written INR scope

v1 screens, roles, integrations (Tally, SMS, UPI). MVP band from ~₹1 lakh; fuller app from ₹2,00,000+ / 8–16 weeks.

Weekly staging

Your manager at the plant office or the restaurant should click the URL, not wait for a demo day in Kolkata.

Launch on your hosting

Training for the people who will use it at 9 pm, not only the owner. Then AMC if you want it.

Industrial RFQ portals — the Durgapur-shaped product

Vendors around DSP and ASP still win or lose on how fast a complete quote comes back. The current stack is often: IndiaMart enquiry, a phone call, a rate on WhatsApp, a PDF made in a hurry, silence. A portal does not replace relationships. It gives the buyer one URL with the capability list, the GSTIN, a request form that captures grade and quantity, and a status the salesman updates so the owner can see stuck quotes on Monday. That is v1. Multi-vendor marketplaces, reverse auctions and “industry 4.0 dashboards” are not v1, and we will not quote them as if they were.

The first screen is for an engineer on a plant network or a phone in a township office. It has to name the product in the words they search, load without a 8 MB hero video, and print. Role-based login matters when you do not want every rate visible to every visitor. Some portals stay public (form only); some are invite-only for approved purchase desks. We pick that in the scope, because it changes the security work.

Tally is the integration people ask for after the demo. If invoices must post, say so before we write models. We have learned the expensive way that bolting Tally onto a finished app is worse than designing the export in week two. If Tally should stay untouched and the portal is only a front door, that is also a valid, cheaper v1. Government and SAIL-adjacent vendor sites sometimes still throw IE-shaped surprises; we test the flows you actually use, not only Chrome on a fibre line.

City Centre restaurant ordering — tickets, not a unicorn

Junction Mall-side and Benachity restaurants do not need to “disrupt food”. They need the table’s order to reach the kitchen without a game of whispers, and they need UPI without a mismatch at close. A custom ordering layer can be: QR menu, item modifiers (oil, spice, packing), a kitchen ticket, a simple “ready” tap, and a daily total the owner trusts more than a notebook. Swiggy and Zomato remain their own channels; we do not pretend to replace them on day one. If your volume is mostly aggregator, say so — a custom app may be the wrong spend.

The hardware reality is a greasy Android near the tandoor and a 4G blip at 8.30 pm. Offline-tolerant tickets (queue locally, sync when the data returns) matter more than a pretty dashboard. We test on cheap phones. We keep the APK-or-PWA discussion honest: many kitchens do better with a full-screen Chrome page pinned on the home screen than with a Play Store listing they will never update.

Menu management has to be something a manager can do on a Sunday without us. If changing the biryani price needs a developer, the software has failed. We record a two-minute edit walkthrough at launch. Festival menus are a Durgapur fact; the thread stays on WhatsApp, same as every other product we ship.

Clinic booking for Bidhannagar and the township

Township and Bidhannagar clinics share a failure mode: two people writing in one diary, a visiting consultant who arrives late, and a WhatsApp flood of “is today available”. A booking app is a calendar with rooms, doctors, slot length, and a reminder. Patients can request; staff confirm. We do not put uncontrolled self-booking on a specialist who will not honour a public calendar — that creates anger, not efficiency. The scope says who is allowed to create a slot.

This is not a hospital HIS. Labs, billing, pharmacy and ABDM connectors are separate products and separate money. If you need those, we either phase them or we tell you to buy a medical-system vendor. We would rather lose a bloated deal than ship a half-clinical toy. Reminders go WhatsApp or SMS with your DLT header; those gateway fees are yours.

Parents and patients coming from Andal or Panagarh need the address and a map on the same screen as the slot. The software should not assume everyone already knows the lane. PIN and landmark fields belong in the clinic profile, not only on the marketing site.

Price, time, and how this is not the Asansol software page with the city swapped

Same published bands: scoped MVPs from about ₹1 lakh in 4–8 weeks; custom web apps from ₹2,00,000+ in 8–16 weeks. A restaurant ticket system with a small menu can sit toward the MVP end. An RFQ portal with logins, PDFs and a Tally export sits toward the fuller end. We will not print a fake “Durgapur steel client” case study with a made-up ROAS or a plant name we do not have permission to use. You will see a staging workflow that looks like your messy reality.

The Asansol software landing talks walk-in registers, coaching CRM-style lists and mall-office scoping. This landing talks RFQ, kitchen tickets and clinic calendars because those are the Durgapur jobs that keep arriving. If your need is a generic internal dashboard with no plant or kitchen flavour, the Asansol page is still the closer description — same team, Sentrum Mall, 3rd floor, Shristi Nagar, 713305. Do not file two identical briefs on both URLs.

Android wrappers, Play Store listing, and offline-first field apps are extra. Boxed products such as Google Map Lead Extractor are not custom Durgapur software and are not on this invoice. Marketing retainers live on digital marketing in Durgapur. Keep those three commercial objects apart so nobody “bundles” them into a number you cannot unwind.

Working with a plant or a kitchen when the office is in Asansol

There is no MediaByteX development floor in City Centre. There is a short drive and a WhatsApp number: +91 96475 04140, Monday to Saturday 10:00–19:00, Sunday closed. Kickoff can be at your A-Zone office, at the restaurant before lunch service, or at Sentrum Mall. After that, staging URLs do the travelling. UAT should be done by the person who will suffer if the ticket is wrong — the kitchen lead, the receptionist, the salesman — not only the owner on a desktop.

Night-time restaurant service and plant shifts do not match our office hours. We do not claim otherwise. Emergency AMC response, if you buy it, is still inside working hours unless a separate clause says so. We would rather write that limit than pretend we staff a night desk we do not have.

If Bardhaman (Burdwan) rice-mill or court-side software is what you meant, stop: that is a different district and a different brief. We can still build it remotely, but we will not reuse a DSP RFQ template on a mill gate pass.

Software development in Durgapur — common questions

Can you build an RFQ portal for a DSP-side vendor?

Yes. v1 is usually capabilities, a request form, quote status and a PDF. Marketplaces and Tally posting are scoped extras. We will not call a contact form an RFQ portal.

Do you replace Zomato for a City Centre restaurant?

No. We can build in-house ordering (QR, tickets, UPI) that sits beside aggregators. If 90% of your orders are already on Swiggy/Zomato, say so — a custom app may not pay back.

How much and how long?

MVPs from about ₹1 lakh in 4–8 weeks. Custom web apps from ₹2,00,000+ in 8–16 weeks. Hosting, SMS, WhatsApp API and Tally connectors extra. Written scope before payment.

Will you invent a case study with a plant name?

No. No fake client names and no invented return figures. You get a staging demo of the workflow.

Do I need an Android app for the kitchen or the plant gate?

Only if a browser on a cheap phone is not enough. Many kitchens pin a web ticket screen. Field/offline and Play Store are a separate Android quote.

Is this the same as the Asansol software page?

Same team and stack, different first products. Asansol: local ops, booking, CRM-style lists, walk-in scoping. Durgapur: RFQ portals, restaurant ordering, clinic booking. Do not treat the pages as clones.

Where is the development office?

Sentrum Mall, 3rd floor, Shristi Nagar, Asansol 713305. No Durgapur branch. Kickoff can be at your site. Support hours Mon–Sat 10:00–19:00, Sunday closed, WhatsApp +91 96475 04140.

Can you start without Tally and add it later?

You can, and we will price the later work as a later work. If you already know invoices must post, put it in v1. Retrofit is how timelines slip.
